JOYCE TRUNK showcases the most hyped designs of the season, housed in a new shop within Lane Crawford Beijing. An ever-evolving selection of introduces Zhijun Wang and his sneaker mask collection in its inaugural exhibition.
Inspired by the heightened issue of air pollution, Zhijun's works is a dialogue highlights his unique approach to traditional craft and innovative design with nearly 300 pieces of sneaker masks, Zhijun's creations have been acquired by establishments such as MoMA NYC and V&A and collected by notable cultural icons like Takashi Murakami, Jeff Staple James Harden.and more.
JOYCE invited Zhijun to create a special mask for the exhibition. He chose a pair of Rick Owens Mega Lace Geobasket and a garment bag with JOYCE logo as the material. Keep the support structure of the heel and integrate the zipper function into the mask. Open the zipper and 'JOYCE' will appear appear completely.
